Getting old...

I decided I was ready for a change, and I loaded up some new pictures on my ldslinkup account. However, it occurred to me today, as I was looking at them that they were all taken last year. I will post them here for you to view:
This has led me to wonder if perhaps I've selected these pictures over more recent photos, because I'm starting to look old. I've dismissed that idea for now with the reasoning that most of the pictures that have been taken of me this year are doing things like camping, hiking pyramids, and in general just stuff that doesn't really catch me at my best. I don't know though... it's hard to say. Anyway, it reminded me of this photo essay I stumbled across online one day: http://zonezero.com/magazine/essays/diegotime/time.html I spent at least a solid hour studying these pictures. In my opinion the wife took a big leap in looking older the year she had her first son. There are other years where I can't see any signs of aging. It's fascinating. I wonder if being single is going to keep me looking youthful longer...

Marriage has aged me considerably. When I posted that last round of pictures to my blog, I felt pretty depressed about it. I look distinctly old.
