The Collie controversy

I figure most of you have already heard about the big fuss over Austin Collie's postgame remarks during a radio interview. I still for the life of me can't figure out why people care so much, but apparently they do. I know this because I inadvertantly pushed Speck to the breaking point, and then past it earlier this week during a phone conversation regarding said postgame remarks. Anyway, it's pointless to get into the specifics, but I have since been informed that we are no longer friends.

I was trying to think of someone that I could tell about this incident that would be amused, so I called John. As predicted he did think it was funny. What was even more amusing was that after I was done telling him about Speck snapping, he told me that earlier that day he'd also inadvertantly done the same thing to some woman in his office over the exact same topic. Only I suspect that what she yelled at him was a little tamer than what was shouted at me. John says that we must lack that ability to sense when people have been pushed to the edge and are about to go over. He must be right, because I was still felt very calm, and really didn't see it coming.
