This is for Michelle

10 things you may not know about me...

1. I have a ring fetish. Last time I counted I was hovering somewhere in the range of 35 rings. I usually buy one when I take a big vacation. I also allow myself to buy a new one whenever I break up with a guy. The favorite is still the gold indian head ring my dad made me.

2. I love tunnels. The tunnels at Zion are amazing, and there's a really cool one that feels like it's 10 miles long on the freeway between Utah and Colorado.

3. For reasons that are not clear to me I have very little ability to think for myself when I'm around my older brother. If he says something is a good idea, it's a good idea. It's been like that for as long as I can remember.

4. My favorite book is Tarzan of the Apes by Edgar Rice Burroughs.

5. I detest long fingernails. I don't like them on other people, and I can't stand them on me. I clip mine at least once a week, sometimes twice.

6. I must seem more approachable when I'm travelling. I can't remember the last time I was seated next to a man on a flight that didn't want to chat with me. The things people will share with a complete stranger...

7. I'm not nearly as big a fan of Bob Dylan as I am of George Harrison, and my favorite albums are All Things Must Pass and Extra Texture, although oddly enough I don't own either of them (well I guess that's not entirely true, I have the LP of Extra Texture).

8. I have recurring dreams where I watch one of my little brothers get mauled by a bear. I hate bears, and I'm scared to death of them. My sisters can tell you that I was stressed out about potential bear attacks the whole time we were camping in Yosemite.

9. As far as I know I'm the only girl to ever work in an Elder's dormitory at the MTC. Despite the fact that there were signs all over the building "warning" them that a female custodian was working there some of the Elders still managed to make it an awkward experience.

10. In junior high I was oblivious to the fact that I have naturally curly hair, and actually got it permed.

I was beginning to wonder if you ever read our blog!!!I too am deathly afraid of bears. Last year when all those bear attacks were happening up here I was terrified. That is one of the reasons why we didnt stay over night at the family reunion, that and me being big with child. I was certain I was going to be the next victim, me being plump and all(a two for one deal!)
