Attendance

The fireside was last night. I was feeling a little panicky when I walked in right on time to a half empty chapel. Right before the fireside started they closed the overflow, since there were still plenty of open seats in the chapel. Thank goodness for Mormon standard time, by the time the opening hymn was complete they had opened the overflow back up, the chapel was packed, and there were still people filing in. The alumni guy told me afterwards that he was very pleased with the turnout and wanted to confirm that I'm still onboard to help with the next one. So despite the failure of many of my friends, and my very own sister to show up and support, I will not be stripped of my duties as the publicity specialist.
