I got a call this morning from a number that wasn't in my phone. Because it was from a Utah area code I figured that I should answer it anyway. I picked it up, and a guy on the other end asked if this phone belonged to me? That seemed like kind of a weird question, I can't imagine how someone would get my number and yet be suspicious that it isn't actually mine. After I confirmed that I am the owner of the phone, my mystery caller identified himself as Chad Cannon. I was so surprised that I'm not sure I said anything for a second.
For those of you who don't know who I'm talking about, Chad was my violin teacher three or four years ago. He's one of my all-time favorite people. I doubt that I would have ever stopped playing again had he stayed here, but he left us for a year at Harvard, before going to Japan on his mission. He got home a little while back.
He's been recording some music since he got home. I can't listen to it on my work computer, but if anyone else wants to go check it out here's the link he sent me: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Chad-Cannon/22765279077
