Let me recommend taking a day off...

I woke up this morning and didn't feel so great. I had a doctor's appointment already scheduled so I decided to make a day of it and called in sick. I don't know any doctors out here, so I just go to the one that Sarah tells me is good. I like the doctor, but she's moved her office clear out to Anaheim Hills. I figured that's okay, still better than just taking a crap shoot with some other random doctor. So I drove all the way out there, went to the doctor's appointment and then considered going to work. I thought better of it though and instead spent the rest of the day at the Richard Nixon Museum (how do you make that a link so that I don't have to paste the link in here?) http://www.nixonfoundation.org/

Allow me to recommend the museum to all of you. They have a lot of gifts to the state on display, the presidential limo, the helicopter he left the White House in, the house he was born in, a replica of East room, and the Lincoln room in the White House. A moon rock, personal effects from Vietnam POW's, some of Pat Nixon's gowns...it was great. I was there for two and a half hours and felt like I had to kind of rush through the moon program stuff, and barely got to see the gifts from US citizens in order to make sure that I still had time to make it outside to the helicopter. Oh, and half off with my student discount. :) I've been meaning to go there for oh 5 years or so, so I was glad it met all my expectations.
