Clock watching...

I have nothing to do at work right now. I mean that very literally. I had about 20, maybe 30 minutes of work to do today. My boss and I had a meeting about how to look busy, even when I'm not. One of her suggestions was to always keep a document open, so that when I'm perusing the internet, if I hear someone coming I can quickly flip over to the document and therefore appear to be busy. She also cited Steve as a perfect example of someone who always seems to have lots of things going on, even though she knows he's just over there reading about sports on ESPN.com. I guess there are still many things for me to learn from Steve.

Is there anyone you can call periodically? Maybe an IT person for an ergonomics question or something? Being on and off the phone contributes a certain air of business. Or working on spreadsheets with a personal budget in them or something.
