Still sick...

Well I think I've resigned myself to the fact that I'm probably going to have to go see my doctor. The cold feels like it's pretty much gone. For the most part my voice is back to normal, but I can't seem to shake the cough and a weird congested feeling in my lungs...which probably isn't a good sign. I won't go until tomorrow at the earliest, so hopefully by then the cough will be gone too and I won't have to go see her after all. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

In the meantime I've been trying to keep things pretty low-key in an effort to fully recover. So pretty much I spent yesterday afternoon and evening watching football. For my Southern California people who didn't get to see the BYU game, and some of whom I think suspected me of exaggerating here are some pictures I found online from the game:
These first two pictures were taken sometime in the first 3 quarters of the football game. The next few pictures were taken during the fourth quarter of the same game. It happened so fast it was weird.
I was watching this realizing that I'm going to a football game in Provo a month from now when it's supposed to be even colder. Since I take my warmth seriously I've decided that one of the first things I need to look into doing when I get to Utah is buying myself a pair of heated socks. I actually didn't realize such a thing even existed until yesterday, and now I am entirely uncertain as to why I have suffered along with frozen toes at football games while a product like this was on the market. I'll let you all know how they work out once I get a pair.

Watch out for those heated socks - hopefully the technology has improved, but my brother tried a pair when he went to Russia (many years ago) and they don't have a thermostat. Which means they just get hotter and hotter and...you get the picture.
