Sick again...

I have yet again been afflicted with a nightmarish cold. This time I'm not coughing, but sneezing a lot. Which of course means that at work I have Andrew over there saying "bless you" everytime. I just ignore him now.

This reminds me, Andrew's girlfriend, Shasta, recently got a job with our company. She works upstairs. Everytime I hear that name Shasta I'm immediately reminded of Shasta the liger (stuffed) on display at the Hogle zoo. Anyhow, she's surprisingly attractive. Steve and I have yet to figure out how those two wound up together. However, Steve has reminded me that she is still refusing to marry him (he has lengthy phone conversations with his mother about this particular issue), so obviously she's not entirely sold.

Anyhow, my perpetual battles with colds is apparently worrying my boss. I think it bothers her that I don't take any medication...actually, I know it bothers her, because she told me that it does. I'm kind of opposed to taking medications that I feel mask symptoms. My boss tried to get me to take a sick day today, but I couldn't because I used up all of my sick days when I was allergic to the air last month. So instead she wants me to only be working half days until I recover. That didn't really work out today since my computer freaked out part way through the day and I lost everything I'd been working on. I think it's dying or something because it does this thing periodically where it will suddenly start making loud groaning kind of noises and then everything freezes up, and I'm forced to reboot. If I act quickly, as soon as it starts making the noise (it gets progressively louder), I can usually get everything saved, and restart, before it freezes up completely and I have to just turn it off. Better luck tomorrow I suppose.

I am hoping that I get away with a half day tomorrow, since I'm moving to the new apartment tomorrow. I hate moving, so I'm very much of the mindset that it should be dealt with as quickly as is humanly possible. Just get in and get it done. I'm hoping this move will go as smoothly as the last move which took about one hour. Maybe I'll post pictures of the new place once the move is complete. :)

MOVING...where, there has been no mention or blog about the search and why and where...don't let your readers down.

I have had a cold relapse, too. I am resigned to not ever getting better until the Little Pork Chop comes.

Oh, I'm moving back into Pierside. So nothing too drastic yet.
