It's really easy to remember the first time I actually took note of the Trinity Broadcast Network. It was my first year in California, I was living in Costa Mesa and cruising home from something on the 405 late one night when seemingly out of nowhere this building appeared that was completely decked out in lights. I nearly drove off the road when I spotted the "Happy Birthday Jesus!" at the top of the building. It's just not the kind of thing I'd ever expected to see spelled out in Christmas lights.
This year I've decided to get an up close and personal view of these lights. Let's be honest, this has to be more interesting than the LA temple lights, and lot closer too. I've called over to the station and the lady confirmed to me that visitors are more than welcome on the grounds to see the lights "...and don't forget that of course Thursday night is the live broadcast here at the station." I don't think there's any chance of me forgetting that. I'm calling back again tomorrow, just to make sure they're going to be cool with me bringing a camera.
