The wide world of facebook
I finally bit the bullet and joined facebook. I have been holding out for a while now, but people in my ward kept telling me that I'm "out of the loop" because I'm not on there. I have to admit that I'm completely astonished at the number of people that are signed up on this site. It's really kind of fascinating. I spent...well, way too much time on there this evening searching for people that I haven't even thought about in years, and there they are. The unfortunate part is that you have to actually add them as a friend before you can look at the profile. So you can't just go cruising around viewing their pictures without actually making contact. I'd like to be a little bit more incognito about it, but I was disappointed to discover that apparently it doesn't work like that. In most cases I don't mind making contact, but there's always that handful of people that I'm not really interested in keeping in touch with, I really just want to look at their pictures. I sacrificed my trip to the gym this evening for this, and valuable sleep hours. Someone should do me a favor and steal my computer. I think I was a million times more productive back before I bought one. I wish there was some way that I could put a lock on this thing so that I can only use it for a certain number of minutes each day.
