Buble

Tricia's work gave her three tickets to the Michael Buble concert at the Honda Center this Saturday, so I got invited to tag along with the married couple. We all got in the car and then discovered that none of us knew exactly how to get to the Honda Center. As a result we wound up exiting the 5 freeway clear down by Disneyland. At that point Tricia tried to pressure Travis into pulling over for directions, which he refused to do, so she decided to take matters into her own hands. At the next stoplight she rolled down her window, and asked the guy in the big truck next to us if he could tell us how to get there. The man appeared to be completely dumbfounded by the fact that we'd somehow managed to get that far off-track. By the time he'd regrouped and was ready to begin issuing directions the light turned green. Travis paced the truck while Tricia craned out of the window to hear the instructions that the truck driver was still shouting to her on our way down Harbor Boulevard.
There was still a heated little discussion about whether or not we should follow the truck driver's directions, or the directions Travis had pulled up on his Blackberry. There's no point in noting which directions we used, but the end result was that we arrived.

The concert was pretty good. Michael Buble is no Neil Diamond, but he's a solid entertainer. Some of the women I know have told me that Michael Buble is really hot.

I don't know that I can agree with that opinion. I thought he was sort of odd looking. Although I'm pretty sure that most of the women in the audience weren't with me on that one.
