Seattle

Thankfully the guy next to me made it into Seattle without incident.

Lynn and I met up at the airport and went to go get some food. It's still a mystery to me why I chose to drink a ton of Coke that night with my dinner, but I did. A foolish decision on my part. I was wide awake until 2:30am, and then crashed, and I crashed hard. Four hours later the alarm on my phone went off, but what Lynn referred to as my "Coke hangover" left me virtually comatose and she had to get up and hunt around for my phone to turn it off. I can't remember what time I actually got up, but it was a much later.

The game was pretty great. We were in nosebleed seats, but we got to sit with our people. Thank goodness for binoculars, right?

The game was pretty great. It came right down to the wire, and they nearly put me into cardiac arrest, but the boys pulled through and blocked a PAT to win by a point, and lest anyone actually believe what ESPN said, the celebration penalty did not cost UW the win. That kick wasn't going to be good from any yard line. (Note that there was no flag on this play.)

I did really enjoy listening to the player who ran in Washington's last touchdown talk about how his teammate came over to hug him after the TD, and "suddenly the ball just flew in the air" and he was called for unsportsmanlike conduct. Who knew that footballs can just spontaneously take flight. It was an amusing recap of the incident.

We all flew out the next morning on an early flight. I'm not exactly a morning person, but once I'm up, I'm up for the whole day. I don't take naps. So I was wide awake on the way home. I guess it's different for GG:He was a bit disgusted with me for taking this picture. Too bad. At John Wayne there was this woman there who looked so familiar, but I just couldn't place her. I feel like I may have seen her on TV or something. Does anyone recognize her?

I guess that picture is kind of blurry, so maybe you can't see her that well.

I you talking about the blond woman? Yeah, I can't tell if she looks familiar or not. This blurry version doesn't really look too familiar, but frankly I am totally the wrong person to ask, anyway.
