I can't say that Neil went off without a hitch. This can be partly attributed to the fact that I don't plan in advance. First of all I was supposed to print off the tickets, but I forgot, and my printer at home is on the fritz. Meredith had to call Jake, and ask him to print them off at work, then meet us at Pavilions in Long Beach with the tickets. Of course that was after we spent some time conferencing over the phone because I couldn't remember my password, and had to have him access my gmail account and reset the password. Needless to say he wasn't exactly thrilled with me.
We took my car and I was driving. There was this little incident on the way there. I got off the freeway, and decided that rather than park in the $19 lot that I would continue further down the road in search of the something cheaper. In theory that sounds like a good idea, the only problem is that I was accidentally routed back onto the freeway, and traffic coming from the other direction to the Hollywood Bowl did not appear to be moving. Anyway, let's just say that I became sort of overwhelmed, and had to pull over and order Patty to take over. She got us there, and spared everyone in the car from hearing me say something that would have made everyone in the car think less of me.
