I guess posting from my phone is kind of an iffy deal. Most of the words with that last post didn't make it on the blog. The woman in that picture below got in a big fight with the professor during class last night. She shouted down a few other students who tried to jump in, and refused to drop the matter, even with the professor trying to change the subject and move into the lecture. It was all about whether or not Anna Mae from the 20/20 video should be allowed to move back to China with her birth parents (we're covering custody and visitation), or returned to her foster parents. This confrontation with our professor lasted a good 30 minutes. I saw at least two students just pack up leave in the middle of it. I wanted to be one of them, but since there is a test next week, and I don't do the textbook reading, I needed to hang around for the lecture. Usually class lets out early, but no thanks to this woman we were there right up to 10pm.
