New tooth...
Yesterday was supposed to be a the long awaited day when I was going to get my crown installed. I've been looking forward to this for some time now. It's been about a month since this whole things started and I've only been allowed to chew with one side of my mouth. It's not really a big deal, but I'd like to get back to using both sides. I've wondered if this keeps up if the muscles on the impaired side of my mouth will atrophy and make my face look lopsided. I also very much miss chewing gum. So I was pretty stoked about getting this new tooth that my dad made for me. Unfortunately my dad made the tooth so that it would fit into a normal person's mouth, and my mouth is apparently not normal. There was some technical discussion about the issue between my dad and the dentist and it was determined that the crown needs to be mailed back home for some adjustments. Needless to say I was disappointed that they had to put the temporary back in. Fortunately my dad tells me it will be a very quick fix and I should be chewing with both sides of my mouth again by next week. I can't wait. Anyone want to go to dinner next week?

Wendy and I were thinking a dinner with the three of us to celebrate our respective birthdays.
Please tell me this doesn't affect our weekend plans.
I'm not sure yet what day I'll be getting the crown put in next week, so I can't make firm dinner plans yet. I will keep you posted.
There's no way this is going to interfere with our weekend. I can still eat.
