Feet

I decided to take Neal to Disneyland on Wednesday. I was feeling pretty tired from the previous day's trip to the zoo. Standing around in the sun all day has a way of sapping all the energy right out of me. Immediately following the zoo I dropped him back off with Meredith and went up to LA to do some baptisms for the dead. Needless to say it made for a very good day, but also a very long one. I got to bed much later than anticipated, so Wednesday morning I was already starting off feeling a little sleep deprived.

We started in California Adventure. Lynn met us there and we rode the new Toy Story ride. For those of you in Southern California with annual passes that are reading this. After riding Toy Story, the Buzz ride seems almost boring in comparison. I have a new favorite ride. Although I did ride the Buzz ride, and I'm actually kind of proud of this score, it put me into level 4 which I believe is Space Ranger, second class:
Before we left I made Neal make me a list of all of the rides that he felt that he had to ride in order for the trip to be successful, and a list of rides that would help make the trip a success. I looked it over and figured we could get all that done. We rode most of them twice, and then added to that list as well. By the time we finally left the park a half hour after closing, we had been there for 14 straight hours. Towards the end I actually caught myself dozing off in line a few times.

My feet were so sore that by the time I had dropped Neal back off in the LBC with Meredith and driven home it was almost 2am, and I literally sort of limped my way into the house. I came dragging into the office late this morning, and my poor little feet still feel like they've taken a beating. It's been a fight trying to stay awake at my desk today.

These are pictures of us at the little ranch place where you can go pet the little goats (and yes, I realize that I the angle this picture was taken at makes me look weird, but I don't care). Since I again walked off without my camera these are the only pictures I have from the day.

Yeah, I pretty much have defaulted to cell phone pictures because I am too lazy too keep my camera charged, digital pictures/videos cleared off the memory card, etc. Sad.

Why aren't you writing as often anymore? Give us more to read! We want to know what's going on with you.
