I was looking over the Olympic medal count today, and I noticed that Canada isn't on the list. I looked through it again, telling myself that if Cuba has two medals, I'm sure that Canada has at least one by now. Nope, not on the list. So then it dawned on me that maybe I missed something and Canada is boycotting the Olympics to protest atrocities in Tibet. My preliminary google searches lead me to believe that's not it either.
I'm astounded. That's a big country to not have a single medal thus far. What's going on with our neighbors to the north that they haven't been able to win anything yet? I'm laboring under the impression that Togo is a much smaller country, and yet they've been able to secure a bronze. I don't know what to make of it. Did I miss something?
