The Job Hunt

I'm going to be seeking some part-time employment early next year. I have no idea what I want to do with myself. The thought has crossed my mind that perhaps I shouldn't have let the teaching license expire but...too late. So with unemployment looming I decided to cruise around careerbuilder for a bit and see what's out there that looks interesting. I have no idea what kind of job I want, but some of the more random ones looked very interesting. I suppose I could get a paralegal job, seeing as how I'm almost done with that certificate, but truthfully, that doesn't sound very interesting.

All of this reminded me of an episode of Simon & Simon where the brothers allow an author to shadow them while they solve a case. The author is writing a book about different careers, and so he goes and tries each of them out for a few days, then writes about it. It's a fascinating idea.

Realistically I have too many expenses to pay to get away with doing that much job hopping, but seriously, think how interesting my blog posts would become if I worked at Wal-Mart for a week. Better yet, McDonald's... The possibilities are endless. Anyway, as great as it sounds, I should probably start formulating a game plan for January.
