Photo ID

I don't know how I managed it, but I showed up at the Long Beach
airport this evening without my driver's license. I think it's still
laying on my bed. I took it out of my wallet so that I could put it
in my pocket and wouldn't have to dig around for it at the airport. I
did plenty of digging around for it at the airport, and I'm relatively
certain that it just isn't with me.

Fortunately I had my social security card with me. An unsafe practice
for sure. I'd been meaning to take it out of my purse, but just
hadn't gotten around to it yet. It's a darn good thing too, because
that combined with my student picture ID is apparently all they needed
at security. I'll just keep my fingers crossed that security at the
Salt Lake airport feels the same way about it.
